My true passion is witnessing my students progress and find joy in this sport. All my efforts are dedicated to ensuring effective and safe learning, as the proper advancement of each individual student is my top priority, above any other goal. I provide a fully individualized learning experience. My courses are structured for one-on-one instruction. This allows all participants to progress at the optimal pace, regardless of their prior experience or skill level.
I make certain that students first master kite control and body positioning before moving on to in-water lessons. This way, when they reach the water, they are able to get up on the board and sail with excellent form and direction - unlike other approaches more focused solely on the sensation of "getting up".

Ugan gave us great kitesurfing lessons – he adjusted the pace of the lessons to our skill level and quickly showed us all the important and fun aspects of the sport. The material was good and he made sure we felt comfortable. Next to that he was super friendly and fun to have lessons with. Ugan took us to some great spots for learning to fly the kite and to practice waterstarts near El Cotillo. Would 100% recommend to anyone that wants to take kitesurfing lessons!
Ugan is a excellent instructor. His has a great and simple way to explain things in calm way, which make you learn fast. I felt very safe and Ugan made it fun and simple to learn kiting.

GER – Ugán ist wirklich der bester Kitelehrer. Er ist sehr geduldig, super motivierend und freut sich wirklich mit einem über die Erfolge und Fortschritte die man macht. Er erklärt viel und hilfreich. Ich hatte schon mal einen Kurs gemacht und Ugán hat den Kurs komplett auf mein Können und Wissen abgestimmt. Die Lagune bei El Cotillo in der der Unterricht stattfindet ist der perfekte Spot zum Lernen und um Sicherheit zu gewinnen. Keine Wellen die einem die ersten Erfolge erschweren und kein ewiges am Strand zurück laufen. Ich bin jeden Tag aus Corralejo nach El Cotillo gefahren und würde den Kurs jederzeit wieder dort und bei Ugán machen.

ENG – Ugán is truly the best kite instructor. He’s very patient, incredibly motivating, and genuinely happy for your successes and progress. He explains a lot and is very helpful. I’ve taken a course before, and Ugán tailored it completely to my ability and knowledge. The lagoon near El Cotillo, where the lessons take place, is the perfect spot for learning and gaining confidence. There are no waves to hamper your initial success, and no endless walking back along the beach. I drove from Corralejo to El Cotillo every day and would take the course there and with Ugán again anytime.
